Jani Ristimäki is Head of FSI segment in BearingPoint Finland, and lead facilitator of EBA Digital Currencies and Smart Payments Working Group. He is also member of BearingPoint’s global CBDC and Open Finance communities, and EBA Open Finance Working Group. Jani Ristimäki has over 20 years of experience in banking and financial services industry. Along his career he have had an active role in consolidation and digital evolution of European payments’ landscape as well as emergence of new banking business and operating models of the Digital Age.
Prior to joining BearingPoint in 2017, Mr. Ristimäki has been working in OP Pohjola, Nets and Luottokunta. His professional focus areas cover strategy and business development, product and service innovations and organizational development.
